Dr. Donnie R. Young, Sr. Pastor of the Praise Temple Christian Fellowship Church
Donnie R. Young was born in Naples, TX to the proud parents of the late Charlie and Gussie Young, Sr., and is the fourth son of five boys. He accepted Christ at an early age and was no stranger to working in the Church. He was an ordained Deacon in the Church, as well as Youth Director.
After accepting his calling to the ministry, he began his God ordained assignment is to minister to the whole man; spirit, soul and body, with an emphasis on faith, the family, finances, and fellowship. He is the Sr. Pastor and Founder of the Praise Temple Christian Fellowship Church, which is a multi-facet ministry that touches lives in the DFW metroplex.
Dr. Young’s success in life and ministry is attributed to him standing on, as well as practicing the principles of Faith in the Word of God. Through an example excellence, this ministry inspires others to achieve the same excellence in every area of their lives.
The Young’s are the proud parents of three: LaTausha Young-Simmons, husband-Dwain Simmons; Camesha Young-Jemmerson, husband-Cedric Jemmerson; and DeMerriell Young, wife-LaTasha Young. They also have six grandchildren: Xavier, Diamond, Desmond, Alexandria, Malia, and Dwain III.
